Headaches

Look who's trying out this blogging thing again! That's right kids, Cass is back. OH YEAH.

Today's topic is the series of headaches I have had the displeasure to be acquainted with in the past year. Let's get started shall we?

I'd like to start with headache #1. This headache, in particular, is the comfort headache, the one you only admit to existing when you have to take a math test in the morning (or, in my case, when you need a ride to early morning seminary or if they promise to buy you candy) This headache is your friend when you need it and a total nuisance when all you want is to take a nap in some dark corner only you know about. Of course, seeing as how this headache is your go to headache, you decide not to pull the Advil out and instead let yourself grow accustomed to the steady feeling of your brain pulsing inside your head.

Next up is our dear headache #2. This headache, unlike the last one, is the kind that come around at the exact moment you ran out of Advil. And no matter how many different stores you search in its always they're, poking you with your own pencils.

Headache #2 tends to be accompanied by wonderful headache #3, AKA the ear ringer. This headache just does not stop talking, Alone, headache #3 isn't half bad, too bad it's never alone, and it totally supports everything headache #2 does. This headache probably knows exactly where the Advil is, but they won't tell you seeing as they're evil.

Headache #4 isn't really a headache so much as it is an ice cream induced pain. This headache appears once you've had too much of it, and unlike the others, all you need is a five-minute break before you can come back for another spoonful.

Well, that's it for my headaches. I'm off to see if I can find myself some ice cream and Advil - today is not the day for any form of headache.

Apologies to my Non-Existent Audience

Well, where to I start? It's been a while, how long exactly I don't know, but I do know that it's for sure been a pretty darn long time. But, believe it or not I've got a pretty good excuse up my sleeve, well at least it feels like it has the potential to be one.

In the last few months that I haven't been blogging I've been collecting certification hours for stage lighting design. Pretty cool right? I've got about 180 hours out of the 30 that I need to get certified so that's kind of great. The only thing I need to do now is successfully pass the exam and then BOOM! I can get paid to design and run stage lights.

Besides that I've also been teched and acted in our schools performance of Rodgers and Hammerstein's The King and I. To do that I had to be at the school from 3:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m. every show day. I can't even begin to tell you how far behind I fell in my classes.

But now that you've heard of my excuses, I'd like to apologize one more time, so I'm so sorry. I can't promise it won't happen again considering I'm already signed up to help with Quilter's and then design for Much Ado About Nothing, BUT I will try to be here as often as possible. Thank you so much for not chewing me out!
